Margaret “Maggie” Wilkin, MPH, a senior analyst in Altarum’s Center for Women’s Health will present at the Society for Nutrition Education and Behavior’s (SNEB) 2021 Annual Conference, a premier event for nutrition education professionals from around the world.
Margaret will present on her research article “Breastfeeding Duration Is Associated with WIC Site-Level Breastfeeding Support Practices,” which was selected by committee vote for the SNEB 2021 Best Article Award. With funding from the Food and Nutrition Service of USDA, the article provides the results from a secondary analysis of the data from the WIC Infant and Toddler Feeding Practices Study−2 describing breastfeeding supports available at WIC sites and examining the relationship between breastfeeding supports and breastfeeding outcomes among WIC participants.
