The Community Care Corps, a partnership between Altarum, Oasis Institute, Caregiver Action Network, and the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging is a new national initiative to recruit and train volunteers to provide non-medical care to elders. This program will help foster innovative models in which local volunteers assist family caregivers, older adults, or persons with disabilities with non-medical care in their own home in order to maintain their independence.
Altarum and our partners will host an informational webinar about the Community Care Corps on Wednesday, January 29, to answer questions about the program and the request for proposals.
