Through the Research Consortium for Health Care Value Assessment, funded by the PhRMA Foundation, Altarum has awarded grants to seven teams or individuals to conduct research to support a robust, evidence-based understanding of value in health care across the full spectrum of care, particularly focused on how to use health care dollars wisely in the context and aftermath of Covid-19, and ways to cut waste to best respond to the next public health emergency.
Altarum will host a webinar on Oct 8 where the researchers will present their work. All are welcome to attend. The researchers will also publish their findings in the blog of Health Affairs.
Below is the agenda for the event, highlighting the seven grant recipients and their research topics. (To receive alerts when the pieces publish in Health Affairs and when registration for the webinar is open, please send an email to press@altarum.org or check this page later for updates.)
