Older adults will comprise one-fifth of the overall population by 2030. The large majority of this population will be aiming to age in place and live at home. What changes do we need to consider to make this possible in communities that have varying resources? How can we think about building community-anchored care systems across the country?
This symposium, convened by Altarum, helps communities deal with these challenges by providing the tools needed to advocate and plan for the community-based health and long-term service and support (LTSS) needs of a growing older adult population.
Speakers include several leading experts in the field—from ACL Principal Deputy Administrator Mary Lazare to Sandy Markwood, CEO of the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging. They and others share insights and actionable approaches.
