Join Altarum's Healthcare Value Hub for two panels discussing policy recommendations to make healthcare more affordable and current state efforts to craft a “healthcare affordability standard” to measure progress.

Until recently, however, state policymakers lacked a clearly defined menu of policy options to inform legislative change. Efforts to make healthcare “affordable” are further complicated by a lack of agreement about how healthcare affordability should be measured. But that is starting to change.
