Altarum CEO Michael Monson Appointed Chair of Long-Term Quality Alliance (LTQA) Board of Directors

October 25, 2023

Altarum is proud to announce that Michael Monson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Altarum, was elected as the Chair of the Long-Term Quality Alliance (LTQA) Board of Directors at the September 2023 annual LTQA member meeting. This appointment reflects Monson's dedication to advancing health care quality and his exceptional leadership within the long-term services and support realm.

The Long-Term Quality Alliance (LTQA) is a national community of organizations aimed at improving outcomes and quality of life for persons who are managing functional limitations due to chronic health conditions, and their families.  It draws member organizations from the full range of health care and social services delivery systems involved in provision, administration, innovation, policymaking, and advocacy for quality long-term services and supports (LTSS).

Organizations come together in the Alliance to share knowledge and experience needed to advance the development and continuous improvement of high-quality systems of integrated, person- and family-centered LTSS.  The Alliance serves as a convener of disparate private-sector and governmental organizations, with an eye to identifying and resolving the most significant challenges and advancing the replication of successful models that demonstrate the potential for more widespread adoption of person-centered LTSS integration.

Monson leads Altarum’s efforts to design and implement solutions that advance the health of individuals with fewer financial resources and those disenfranchised by the healthcare system. His dedication to the mission of Altarum aligns seamlessly with LTQA's commitment to improving care for those using LTSS.
