On July 28, 2022, Altarum Medicare-Medicaid Services for States (AMMS) hosted its first webinar, "Supporting States to Build Better Programs for Dually Eligible Individuals."
Experts from Altarum Medicare-Medicaid Services, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Health Care Strategies, Arnold Ventures, and the state of Virginia highlighted new state tools provided by the CMS CY 2023 MA and Part D Rule to integrate care for this population with Medicare Advantage Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNP). They also discussed state capacity to take on dual integration and spotlighted the state of Virginia’s journey using innovative program approaches to advancing this important work.
