At the On Aging 2023 conference, members of Altarum’s Delivery System Transformation team will share findings from our AHRQ-funded research exploring how PACE centers weathered the Covid-19 pandemic, and from a multi-faceted in-depth analysis examining the indirect benefits and economic impacts of nonmedical assistance provided at Community Care Corps grantee pilot sites.

At the SOPHE 2023 conference, Altarum will present on the lessons learned from the HHS Office of Population Affairs-funded Link Study, which seeks to integrate family planning and substance use treatment referrals and incorporate new tools into clinical workflows. Products created and disseminated to sites will be presented as well.

Altarum will attend the first joint CDC and ONC Industry Information and Collaboration Day on February 27-28, 2023. Our partner from Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) will share how jurisdictions, vendors, and federal partners can collaborate to expedite the adoption and implementation of new technology.

Altarum Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer Laura Sankey will join an expert panel at AcademyHealth’s 2023 Health Datapalooza. “How Can the Healthcare Industry Address Dirty Data?” will discuss the importance of ensuring data quality and data sharing across federal agencies, payers, and other health care stakeholders.

The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services and Altarum partnered to identify best practices in organizing collaborative approaches to addressing food and nutrition insecurity, such as food policy councils, food charters and plans, and State Nutrition Action Councils (SNACs), as well as which policy, systems, and environmental change strategies are most promising for groups to implement. We will present results of this assessment in the 2023 ASNNA Conference session “Addressing Food and Nutrition Insecurity through Collaborative Partnerships” on Tuesday, February 7th.

Attending the virtual 2023 Michigan Social Determinants of Health Summit? Join Altarum for two presentations! Topics include youth programming to combat food insecurity and research on the need for new advancement opportunities for home care workers in Michigan.

Altarum will attend and lead tracks at the 32nd HL7 FHIR Connectathon in Henderson, NV. We will work with others in the FHIR community to advance and improve FHIR specifications and associated technologies.
